The Chateau of Versailles:

This is one of the most important palaces in France, and the splendour and opulence of the decorations make it also one of the most visited, with 11 million visitors a year. Stemming directly from the wishes of Louis XIV, the Sun King, it was constructed in the latter half of the 17th century. The visit lets you discover the sumptuous rooms of the King and the Queen, not overlooking the Hall of Mirrors and its decorations by Charles Le Brun.
