Historic
Paris: 3 hours with 2 stops
This tour lets you
discover the historic centre and the oldest districts
of the city, such as the infamous Bastille and the
Marais area with her breathtaking private mansions.
This district is also home to the Place des Vosges,
and it is here that we will pause a moment to admire
the 17th century splendour of the square, along with
the residence of the Duke de Sully. The journey continues
to the Louvre, by way of one of the most beautiful
bridges in Paris, the Pont des Arts, as well as the
oldest bridge in Paris, le Pont Neuf (which really
does mean the new bridge). The second
stop is marked by
a visit to the cathedral immortalised by Victor Hugo,
the Notre Dame, the most representative example of
the primitive gothic style in the Ile de France.
The tour then continues with your coach discovering
the Pantheon, the Latin Quarter and the Sorbonne before
crossing the St. Germain district with its literary
cafés.
